I'm guessing this isn't any use to you as there is not bulletin board
support, but i wrote a (fairly trivial) patch for moinmoin to add pam
authentication and system group acl support. The moinmoin code is
pretty easy to work with, and is in python. If you were thinking of
writing your own, you might consider adding bulletin support to an
existing wiki (or a wiki to an existing bulletin board system) as an
alternative.
