And a couple of things I forgot to ask/mention...
1. Can anyone suggest some sort of social event for 150 geeks around Dublin?
2. We are holding an ODF day at aKademy this year, and many industry
developers will be attending to discuss development and usage of the
OpenDocument format. Full details are available here:
http://conference2006.kde.org/codingmarathon/opendocumentday.php
If you are interesting in development related to ODF, then let me know, this
day may be of interest for you.
We also plan on holding HCI and Kernel days, and hope to have a few kernel
devs along to discuss and brainstorm about desktop/kernel interfaces,
issues and improvements that could be made. The HCI day would be of
interest to anyone interested in usability issues related to free software
desktop environments. If interested in any of the above, let me know.
Marcus.
