Must try that out, thanks.  I'm currently working with a rabbit's ears so
the signals so poor I'll hardly tell the difference :-)

I've used it too and it is nice.  I mainly went for mplayer in order to use
mencoder.  As it's a royal PITA to configure I thought I might document it.
