Okay, you had me scratching my head there for a minute Walter, but I
think I've got your answer for you. You can forget about sendmail.mc.
Indeed, you don't even need to be running sendmail in server mode on
fedora.example.com.
Look at the file /etc/submit.mc. On your host mankind this should have a
line like this in it:
FEATURE(`msp', `[127.0.0.1]')dnl
Change that line to:
FEATURE(`msp', `server02.example.com')dnl
and then to a 'make -C /etc/mail' and (with any hope) this should give
you what you want.
I don't know if there are any consequences to running sendmail with such
a configuration so you might want to look into that.
