hey,
My modem is described as a "High speed 56K modem" on the compaq site but my
network configuration tells me its a "Intel Corporation Unknown device
1092" and says its ok. However when i enter
dmesg | grep eth0
i get
e100: eth0: e100_probe: addr 0xd0100000, irq 20, MAC addr 00:16:D4:33:20:D7
ADDRCONF(NETDEV_UP): eth0: link is not ready
I asume that this is due to the cable not being pluged into the pc because i
get a different reply when it is. I am lost after that though. not sure of
how to send you the Ispci output either. I think i'm going to have to study
some. i figured out i actually have fc5 aswell.
