Thaks guys for the infor,
it was 2.4 and not 2.3 kernel as I had mentioned. Got a typo error from the
request itself.
Conor, I have not experimented with the glibc upgrade after installing the
kernel. Will have a test run and drop in a mail for assistance if required.
