Hi all.
I'm close (I think) to getting Maple 9 to run under Ubuntu Edgy Eft
(stupid name but there u go).
Guy in Waterloo Maple suggested that I try:
jk> /usr/local/maple9/jre.IBM_INTEL_LINUX/bin/java
Result was:
Error: failed
/usr/local/maple9/jre.IBM_INTEL_LINUX/lib/i386/client/libjvm.so, because
libstdc++-libc6.1-1.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file
or directory
But I do have /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6.0.8
Is it safe to fake up a link so that libstdc++-libc6.1-1.so.2 points to
libstdc++-libc6.1-1.so?
Or should I install libstdc++-libc6??
Thanks,
john
