I have to disagree here.
I know bash, sed, other CLI tools quite well.
However a language that is a combination/evolution
of these is not a good idea IMHO.
A language needs to be designed not evolved.
(I always thought the Quagga an appropriate
mascot for Perl :-P)
Personally I use Python rather than Perl.
