There are many ways on how to update records in DNS. The big question
here always though is... what method does the service provider use?

http://packages.debian.org/unstable/source/php5
generates a nice long of list packages that are available

I don't see why it would not work? Unless you are using stable of
course, but who uses that ;) Long live backports for those people:
http://packages.debian.net/stable-backports/web/
