[ILUG] hosting - yet again !

[ILUG] hosting - yet again !

We currently have a 1/4 of a rack filled and it is drawing 1.38Kw of
power, this is 7x1U servers and 2x1U switchs. We are told by our hosting
centre (don't want to mention names) we are exceeding the power draw for
a full rack and so would not be able to add more equipment ( I guess
Michele was right when he said power was an issue, they must be reading
your mails). Is there a hosting centre that allows rack dense equipment
in Irl, I believe a rack of blades would draw excess 25Kw, is there any
sense in rack dense equipment at all. Your experiences appreciated.

Power to the people.
