 hi,guys:

Does anyone have installed this login manager software before,I try to run
it on my OpenSUSE 10.1 machine but it failed.I do manager to compiled the
source code, and have DirectFB installed. Then I try follow the manual to
modify my inittab file,on the manual said part of inittab file should look
like this

# TERMINALS

c1:12345:respawn:/sbin/agetty 38400 tty1 linux

c2:12345:respawn:/sbin/agetty 38400 tty2 linux

and we need to change to

# TERMINALS

c1:12345:respawn:/usr/local/sbin/qingy tty1

c2:12345:respawn:/usr/local/sbin/qingy tty2

but actually in OpenSUSE,the Inittab file it's like this:

1:2345:respawn:/sbin/mingetty tty2

1:2345:respawn:/sbin/mingetty tty3

even I did as manual said change (mingetty) to (/usr/local/sbin/qingy) , but
nothing happend? Can somebody help me out please!?
The software can be found on : qingy.sourceforge.net , also here is a little
detail about it: qingy is a replacement for getty. Written in C, it uses
DirectFB to provide a fast, nice GUI without the overhead of the X Windows
System. It allows the user to log in and start the session of his choice
(text console, gnome, kde, wmaker)

regard
