Warning much silly behaviour ahead!
Begin Silly Stuff -----
Michele,
If you are going to be a pedant at least do it correctly.
Please see below for example :-))))))
Hi Dave,
I read your mail with some concern.
Some of those users to whom you refer grandparent and use a GNU/Linux
distribution, with varying levels of Freedom. Therefore while you might
correctly assume that the girl should be using GNU/Linux, it would
appear that the person asking the question is a GNU/Linux distribution
user therefore he would be entitled to ask.
Furthermore, please note that the girl might find the fact that people
on this list helped her. This may help reduce or remove the allergic
reaction much as an antihistamine works in real life.
There is the other point that more than likely the software the girl
will use will be run on something in the GNU/Linux space.
Regards,
Paul (can I have a cup of tea now please) O'Malley
End Silly Stuff -----
Anyway enough comedy, you all have a happy and safe Christmas!
Regards,
Paul O'Malley
