Cause no one would subscribe to it, probably.
One idea might be to make use of mailman 'topics', it requires:
- list admin configures the topic, e.g. configure an 'Off Topic' for
'[OT]'
- Subscribers can then, in their preferences, specify whether or not
they want to get these mails
- Requires a modicum of discipline on part of posters to remember to
add '[OT]' (but it just needs /one/ poster to do so, posters after
would just inherit the subject).
Another similar option is to setup an '-xtra' list (ie ilug-xtra).
