I think that's more or less where the card came from in the first
place :)    In any case, rather than bring a card with him pron
pointed me in the direction of an ebay chappie who has cheap cards so
if changing slot doesn't work, I'll have another option on Monday.

See above.   I'm pretty sure the card is about five years old so....
