I never had an eircom DSL setup but there was a thread a short while
ago about slowness in Eircom's DSL setup on Linux, which seemed to be
related to the /etc/resolv.conf on the machine pointing to the DSL
router DNS rather than the eircom ones. Any chance that could be the
case ?
