If anyone's not heard of Vint, http://www.google.com/intl/en/ 
corporate/execs.html#vint gives a reasonable overview of his career.   
Of course, the main thing most people have heard about is that he was  
one of the designers of TCP/IP.  This may or may not be a good thing...

I've seen him talk before; his talks are always very interesting.   
Highly recommended.
