AFAIR, yes, it is supported. I remember installing RH6 on a load of machines
way back when, and the 3c905b was on just about all of them. Nothing special
was required. Just make sure to load the module. IIRC, you just need to add
3c905 to /etc/modules.autoload (or something similar).
why RH6? can you not upgrade it?
