Hi all,
hope you can help me.
<newb alert> <newb alert> <newb alert> <newb alert>
I installed openSUSE 10 yesterday and am having trouble getting it to
recognise my photo printer: Canon Pixma iP4000 and my hard drive mp3 player:
Zen Sleek (20Gb)
The printer is recognised as a Canon Pixma iP4000 when first connected but I
can't add it thru the printer setup. Any suggestions?
My Zen Sleek mp3 player is recognised as a removable hard drive when put
into that mode but isn't seen as a music player with all its tracks. Any
suggestions?
A third different problem (sorry about all this).
I created a FAT partition to share with winXP on my laptop but openSUSE
can't write to it says I've no permission, how do I change this? I think
this is something to do with the settings in /etc/fstab/ but not sure.
Here's my fstab for info:
dev/hda4 / reiserfs acl,user_xattr
1 1
/dev/hda1 /windows/C ntfs
ro,users,gid=users,umask=0002,nls=utf8 0 0
/dev/hda6 /windows/D vfat

/dev/hda5 swap swap defaults 0

proc /proc proc

sysfs /sys sysfs noauto

usbfs /proc/bus/usb usbfs noauto

/dev/cdrecorder /media/cdrecorder subfs

Appreciate any help you can give me.
