Actually, thats a fine solution. I have now tested win2K and winXP to  
no avail.
I've even tried leaving the wifi wide open to no avail, i.e.: not a  
wifi issue.

The routing table is the same on all boxes, as is the DNS table.
To prove the NIC(s) work, I connected it straight to IBB. OMG how bad  
of an idea was that.

XP with service pack 1 got 11 viruses in 10 minutes online (without  
ever launching internet explorer except for using windowsupdate). I  
am forced to format the entire disk (both win2k & XP got the same  
viral infestations, only XP was online) and try again, patch it first  
of course.

Windows is officially shite, think I'll just install linux.
