Due to a fatal HDD issue, I need to receover a single file off my ibook
hdd.
macos fails to repair the fs, so am screwed.
I guess my R6 killed the drive, not to mention the powerful magnets in the
tank bag. ;-(
So the best option is to boot off a live CD (ppc), I am downloading ubuntu
6.06, from here:
http://releases.ubuntu.com/6.06/ubuntu-6.06-desktop-powerpc.iso
Q: does desktop-cd mean live CD then?
