Have one here at home, Poweredge 2800, Xeon 3Ghz (long story why I have
it here beside me.) but its running Ubuntu Breezy Badger AMD64. Never
noticed anything on startup about microcode. And at work I have two
Poweredge 2850's dual cores running CentOS 4.1. spotted a warning about
the microcode but ignored it and all is well. Only reason I had to use
the OpenManage CD's was to configure the RAID controllers. Would presume
its safe to ignore it..

regards
Robert
