gmake is GNU make, which is 'make' on Linux systems. it's installed 
as 'gmake' on Solaris to avoid clashing with standard SysV 'make'.

Anyway, again, with respect to "Linux kernel headers" - you seem to 
be mixing up the build dependencies of /glibc/ with those of gcc.. I 
could explain, but I'd be repeating myself.
