[ILUG] Mod_rewrite help

[ILUG] Mod_rewrite help

Keith Davey keith.davey at gmail.com

Hi,

I am trying to write a mod rewrite rule to strip away a directory name at
the start of a request.

Basically I have the following:

RewriteCond %(REQUEST_URI) !^/directory/.*$
RewriteRule ^/directory/(.*)$ $1 [PT]

I can see in the rewrite log that the condition is being matched but the
directory name is not
getting stripped away.

Any ideas?

Keith
