First of all press T (capital t), and at the "Tag messages matching:"
prompt type ~l (tilde, ell) and press return. You should see an
asterisk beside all mailing list messages.
Then type ; (semicolon) and at the "tag-" prompt type either d to mark
them for deletion or s to choose another mailbox to move them to.
