[ILUG] Hardware for ICT

[ILUG] Hardware for ICT

Hi Guys

I would most likely be able to get my hands on at least a couple of new
Opteron Workstations (1*146 AMD 64-bit Opteron CPU, 512MB, 80GB disks)
from Sun, no strings as a loaner, just need loads of notice to reserve.
I also have a new Opteron 1U server (1*146 AMD 64-bit Opteron CPU, 2GB,
80GB disks) but this might be a bit noisy for the stand unless you can
bury it somewhere. My only concern is that the hardware is insured for
the duration that it is in your care or you agree to replace if it is
stolen/damaged etc. I could arrange for the h/w to arrive in advance to
give you time to do something useful with it.

Just let me know if this might help.

Regards

Terry
