I am contacting Oracle Marketing and Sales to pull the right strings.
My own chances to participate as member of Support Services are low, but
locating the right people can make the difference.
It would be a valuable opportunity to convert the recent investments on
Linux into actions. The whole idea is independent of corporate views,
limiting to use few known cases to show how credible Linux and open
source applications can be in a business environment. (hint - OnDemand
hosts over 500 11i customers. The datacentre runs 2600+ Linux boxes and
200 TB storage).
I do not define myself as kernel expert or Linux/Unix guru. However my
business oriented views and technical experience, mostly from my work
with massive databases and 11i Business Suite, have a potential to grab
specific audiences. I am comfortable to present sessions, whatever the
number of attendees and diversity of interests.
