  | First mail in years to the list, and it's off-topic :}

  | [ Someone is ] looking for someone in Ireland to do a couple of days
  | Subversion training. I guess he found me through some articles I wrote.
  |
  | Anyone here ready, able & willing? I'd much prefer to have someone from
  | ILUG do it than have some hawk say "'course I know Subversion" and teach
  | himself what he needs to know to do a training course in 2 days.

 in a sense, this is very amusing.
 speculating a little bit, I _think_ there may be
 an opportunity for a subversion expert to do some
 training and/or consulting (for a fee, and in
 English (but Français would be helpful)) here in
 Montpellier, France, at the company I currently
 work for — apparently we will be switching to
 subversion (from CVS+patch(1)), and from what
 I can see, it will be ineptly done .... but an
 outside expert _might_ be listened to?

cheers!
