Some people thought it inappropriate that she came in only at the end. The
reason she gave was that she had been out campaigning.
She only got to speak for a minute because the building staff were tapping
their watches. They might have been stricter than usual since the 298-seat
room was filled to the point where people were standing and sitting on the
steps and the door had to be closed as the capacity reached the fire
