Some of the wireless networks require an essid and/or a wep key. And

guessnet will do the trick. You can assing different scripts to different
networks.
I've apt-cache searched and found a number of these tools, and wonder

Has anyone dealt with this problem and what did you use? If not, does

I use trio ifplugd + wpasupplicatn + guessnet on both Debian and (K)Ubuntu
boxes. Works great except dhcp - it's sometimes unable to aquire network
address.
