What Tim means here is that Slax on his new Thinkpad is objectively
faster than Fedora was on his Vaio. By and large, one distrubtion
should be much the same as the next on given hardware, modulo
differences in kernels and chosen options and finding the best of those
is only a matter of time and as Brendan said . . .
