Hi All,
I'm trying to get a few things working on Apache.
1. Get PHP to su to the user
2. Get suexec to work with VirtualHosts (preferably VirtualDocumentRoot)
However, I've run into a few problems. The Debian version of suphp
doesn't let you su in /home/$user. I'd prefer not to do a custom compile
of suphp.
So, I tried the CGI version of PHP with suexec. Works grand with
www.server.com/~user type URLs. I tried then with <VirtualHost> and
setting SuexecUserGroup user user. When this happens, I get a 500 error
with an error in the suexec.log of "command not in docroot". Trying
various different configs with links doesn't work.
Anyone have a solution? Ideally, I'd like to use VirtualDocumentRoot
(and VirtualScriptAlias). Anyone know if you can use <VirtualHost>
directives for stuff you want more config on and then
VirtualDocumentRoot for the rest of them?
Thanks in advance for any help.
Regards,
Cian
