I think you actually meant webmail servers rather than clients.
The one we use is Squirrelmail. With a bit of tweaking, it will
support LDAP. It is pretty lightweight and works alright.
A nice thing about Imp/Horde is the fact that there are some nice
shared calendaring options with it.
I don't know openwebmail either.
