[ILUG] Webmail comparison

[ILUG] Webmail comparison

Just to add another one to the list... RoundCube webmail
(http://www.roundcube.net/). It's a PHP IMAP client that I've been using for
a few months and it's quite nice. It supports my vast IMAP folder structure
(which was my key requirement) and uses a MySQL DB for "stuff". It talks
IMAP, so doesn't need to be on the same box as the mail spool. It's still in
beta, but I've not run into any problems with the latest release (yet!)

Subject: [ILUG] Webmail comparison

This might be slightly OT ...

Has anyone here ever done a comparison if webmail clients? I'm
particularily interested in openwebmail and horde/imp. I know imp pretty
well, but not openwebmail. LDAP support is required (both do), but AFAICT,
openwebmail operates on a mail spool directory only, i.e. no imap/pop
support.
