I know nothing of refer, and Tim mentioned refer-like. He gave sample  
input, and sample output, and I provided code to produce the one from  
the other.

If it now turns out the requirements were loosely written, then we'll  
have to have a CCN (contract change notice) for which I will be  
pleased to quote at my normal rates.

P.S. At one stage during the development of a large system with which  
I had some peripheral involvement, the customer suggested that  
perhaps a "Generate CCN" button should be added to one of the screens.
