[ILUG] OT KVM switch problem

[ILUG] OT KVM switch problem

Niall O Broin niall at linux.ie

This is totally off the wall (OK - one of the attached computers runs
Linux, so not totally) but anyway, it may provide some light relief
from the current thread from hell.

I have a Digitus OC12U KVM switch. It's a little thing - two machines
to one KVM. It has no selection switches, hot keys taking their
place. If I hadn't mislaid the manual, I'm sure I'd be now getting
great use from it :-(

A suggestion was made on #linux that a double tap of scrolllock might
help and sure enough, that puts it into scanning mode, with the
output from the two boxes appearing alternately on the monitor. But
I've been unable to sumble across the key which stops scanning and
selects the currently displayed machine. If anyone happens by some
happy chance to have such a device, could you drop me a line (off
list would probably be better) with the magic keys?

Niall
