This is mainly for Declan, but anyone with hardware exp. Can help.
I’ve got a GP2X Game console that I recently bricked with a failed upgrade. I’ve ordered a PS, a TV and Serial cables. These connect via a 24-pin connector same as a Samsung E710 phone connector, which also has JTAG contacts available. There is limited info about connecting these for re-flashing the GP2X, but ATM it’s my only option other than spending another €200 for a new&improved GP2X.
I’m fairly handy with a soldering iron, I just want someone with more hardware exp. to verify the wiring so I don’t cause more damage.
The cables should be here by next week, so if someone want to get together and help me hack this back to life, give me a shout!
Cheers,
John Gay
