You are welcome to your opinion on the Sony. Buy the Samsung.
Philips products, in my experience are over engineered. If they're
really good, you never get them off the mainland of Europe, but if
they're a bummer (and philips did _many_) you get them sent off to
places like Ireland.

Airline. Don't use high pressure. Otherwise, use a paint brush (with no
paint on it of course).

Above comments apply. Along with over engineering comes being the
'first on the block with this feature' . Philips have also done that
with many lousy products as well.
