Hi folks,
Ive acquired a Compaq Presario 700 laptop (This is running FC5) which I
need a wireless card for.
My friends on ebay just-deals ( http://stores.ebay.co.uk/justdeals-uk )
have a heap of them but Im not sure which is which.
The network access point is a Netgear WG 602 v2 which I THINK is 802.11g.
Current offerings are
Netgear WG111 802.11g USB Wireless WiFi Network Adapter
Netgear MA521 802.11b Wireless PCMCIA Laptop PC Card
NETGEAR WAB501 802.11A & 802.11B Wireless Notebook Card
Netgear WPN511 RangeMax Wireless 802.11g Notebook Card
Am I best going for an 802.11G specific card?
Any views on the card versus the USB key. The presario is USB1 and I
have no preference over card or usb as I will not be using any other
perpherals with the pc
