Every now and then I get a spate of error messages in /var/log/messages like
May 16 13:46:50 alfred snmpd[2324]: netsnmp_assert index == tmp failed
if-mib/data_access/interface.c:468 _access_interface
_entry_save_name()
May 16 13:47:50 alfred last message repeated 2 times
May 16 13:49:20 alfred last message repeated 3 times
I googled for this, but only found other people equally baffled.
Linux error messages really are ubelievably bad.
How could any sane person write a program which produces the above message?
I'm thinking of going over to Minix-3.
