[ILUG] Suse 10.1 and VNC

Oh and it appears that I can ping dns servers also (ping 212.159.13.49) works
Perhaps my DNS servers aren't set?
I can't find where to set them either lol

Yes - check your networking. Is routing correct? (probably, because you can VNC to the box). Is name resolution setup correctly? From a shell, try dig www.linux.ie and check that you get back a line with

www.linux.ie.           86400   IN      CNAME   morrigan.tuatha.org.

Does Firefox have a proxy wrongly set?
