[ILUG] FC6 installation fails media test

Hi,
I've downloaded FC6 in form FC-6-i386-disc[1-5].iso from hea site

run sha1sum -c SHA1SUM.htm (all 5 iso's passed)

and burned to 5 cd's.

I have a brand new unused Dell Optiplex GX620.

Set it to boot from cdrom first,

booted from first CDROM fine.

ran the media check - failed.

Reburnt cdrom - again booted fine but failed media check.

Got a friend to download the dvd iso from esat site, he burned a dvd on
his pc.

Again booted fine then failed.

The dvd/cd drive on new pc is Optiarc DVD+/- RW ND-3570A

Obviously I'll try to install onto a different pc - if media check ok do
I conclude that I have a dud dvd/cd drive?

Or is there a work-around?

Or should I ignore the media check failure???

Thanks for any tips - (Googling didnt turn anything up for me)

John
