Hi all,

The company I work for (www.propylon.com) is looking to hire a Junior Ops
Engineer.

See http://www.irishjobs.ie/JobDesc.asp?ID=2599249&MID=2269 for details.

Requirements:
	- Linux Server (Debian/Redhat/OpenBSD/Solaris)
	- Scripting (bash/python/perl)
	- Server apps install experience ( and of Apache, Zope, DB2,
	Websphere, pound)
	- Firewalls a plus (BSD PF, iptables)
	- Desire to learn
	- Windows Desktop troubleshooting
	- Linux desktop troubleshooting (yes, we run it quite a bit!)
	- Ability to cope with more than one task at once!

About the Role:

The work will involve (internal) front line support to the
company staff, server maintenance and configuration, asset management,
configuring and repairing hardware (from laptops to servers). The
sucessful candidate will also be assisting the senior engineers in
setting up monitoring systems for security and traffic flow, building
high-availablilty systems for external clients and even learning the
ins and outs of the PBX :) It'll be varied work, and there will be occasions
of high-pressure as well as more relaxed times.

There will probably be some travel involved within Ireland and the USA.
The role is based in our offices in Rathfarnham, Dublin 14.

cheers,
Damian.
