[ILUG] POTD tonight in Messrs Maguires

[ILUG] POTD tonight in Messrs Maguires

Niall O Broin niall at linux.ie
Tue Oct 10 16:26:49 IST 2006

Due to the postponement of the SAGE AGM, and the consequent loss of
an excuse for some beer, an ILUG POTD has been declared for tonight
(October 10) in Messrs Maguires near O'Connell Bridge at 19:30/20:00ish.

We'll probably be in the higher reaches of the premises (avoiding the
loud music) and I'll try to bring a penguin as a tell tale. I might
even wear my silly Kill Bill wooly hat.

Niall

P.S. For those who haven't previously participated, POTD = pint of
the day, modelled of course on the classic Unix motd or message of
the day. An ILUG POTD consists of ILUG people getting together to
drink beer and mutter about all sorts, sometimes even including Linux.

P.P.S. We often somewhat have more notice of POTDs but some of the
best POTDs have been organised like this at really short notice.
