I'd like to suggest an alternative motion:
"the discussion of spam received to the ILUG list be grounds for
immediate suspension from the ILUG membership, unless the thread be
initiated by the listmaster"
That said, I'd vote for members-only-post before moderation. (ye
gods, *please* not moderation).
