I had suggested something like this two years ago or so. Basically the
more moderators are, the less load on one or two persons to moderate.
However the moderators should never get boged down by a committee type
secnario arising either. Also they should be impartal to content of
message, just approve reject based on spam thresholds. There are pros
and cons, but the level of spam is quite large and its on of the
reasons I don't get to post so much is I have subscribed via my gmail
addy, and only remember to check every few days.
