[ILUG] FC6 for a new pc?

Hi,
I am prob getting new pc in near future.

I'm thinking of installing FC6 and sticking with it.

(I have had original FC on present pc for a couple of years!)

I know that FC should be upgraded regularly - I have got away with not 
doing so.

Am I more likely to run into problems with FC6 if I dont upgrade to FCn 
(as n \rightarraow \infty)?

Is there a wiser choice for lazy people like me? Ubuntu???
