Oh, if only it were that simple. I don't have physical access to the box
the share is on.

I did try some fuse-based SMB mounters that actually use smbclient but
they seem to be more of a Network Neighbourhood style access... Doesn't
seem to be a way to mount a specific share and supply credentials for it
- there's no drop in replacement for mount.cifs that uses smbclient.
Oh well.
