Hi Guys,
I'm trying to replace all instances of a string in multiple files and
I usually use this command:
find ./ -type f | xargs perl -pi -w -e 's/SEARCHSTRING/REPLACESTRING/g;'
However... tonight I've hit a problem because the search string is
part of a URL and contains a /
and if i wrap my search string with quotes, perl barfs at me...
any suggestions on how I can achieve this?
TIA,
Aine.
