Excuse this if there's an obvious answer but.....
I want to periodicall synchronize a directory on my desktop with an ftp
repository. I only want to download new/changed files and delete files on
the receiver side that are no longer necessary. rsync does this wonderfully
when you are not trapped behind a firewall that only permits outgoing http
and ftp connections. Unfortunately I am behind such a firewall at work.
Any nice ftp/wget type of solutions that I can use? Or better still, is
there an rsync way of doing this. One thought is to use ftpfs and rsync off
that but I have to do a lot of fiddling to set up ftpfs.
Suggestions?
