[ILUG] KDE Add\Remove

[ILUG] KDE Add\Remove

I think it might help if you take a
look at
http://www.catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html

Comments such as the following don't really help. They give no idea of
what you tried and what the results were. Thus its very hard for anyone
to know what you tried, what problems you saw, and thus help you. Keep
in mind not everyone uses FC5 or KDE (guess from your comments), so the
less information you give, the less chance you have that someone can
point you in the right direction.

It would help if you would describe what occured when you clicked on the
link and what options you were given.
Also whether you are familiar with installing rpm's from the command line.
(try googling for "installing rpms")
Did you try saving the file and then right clicking?

Well where did you try looking? which menu, what menu groups did you
look under? kpackage is the name of the add/remove program on KDE.

I'm guessing that your using KDE instead of the default desktop for FC5,
which is gnome. In gnome I believe there is a menu item called
"Add/Remove".

Also when looking at the menu items, move your mouse over them to get a
description as to what they are for. Very useful where the name may be
different to what you were originally looking for.
